WARNING: Don't expect an Italian restaurant, but a Moroccan one. The restaurant has likely been bought out, hence the sign says "pasta," etc., but they only serve tagines and couscous. Their food is good and the dishes are well-prepared. The restaurant is listed on TheFork app but not on Google.

A great find. We ate very good and inexpensive oriental dishes. The only slight downside was that the desserts weren't very fresh.

Very poor customer service

Great restaurant! This was our fourth time here as a couple, and we were just as satisfied as always. The owner is lovely, and the dishes are excellent and generous. For around €35, you can get two starters, two main courses, two drinks, and a mint tea. It's more than affordable. Takeaway: €20 for three pizzas.

We ate Moroccan food for the first time, and after an hour of skepticism, it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very helpful and friendly when choosing our dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don't even understand how this restaurant has such good reviews. Luckily we paid half price with TheFork (and even half price still hurt for what it was). The couscous had no sauce (and since the previous customer asked for some, they served her couscous with what I think was leftover tagine sauce because they gave us the same one, and it's definitely not couscous sauce), with a thin layer of semolina spread on a flat plate—enough for a child under two, if that. The vegetables were practically raw. And the tagines? Don't even get me started—they had no taste, were tiny portions, and the vegetables were still undercooked. The merguez and beef had clearly been cooked for a day or more because they were rubbery and difficult to cut. The bread was also stale. In short, nothing was right. The cook seemed nice, but unfortunately, that's not enough to run a restaurant. I think those unfamiliar with Middle Eastern cuisine might be disappointed. "Having" a bad experience with this kind of establishment. In short, I won't be back and I definitely don't recommend this restaurant.

This is exactly the kind of restaurant I love to discover! This discovery was quite simple: I wanted to take a stroll in Avignon for Christmas, I was craving Moroccan food, and that's how I ended up making a reservation at San Marino. We left delighted! And we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A lovely menu offering pizzas, delicious Moroccan dishes, burgers, and salads. Unfortunately, no starters. We had the excellent chicken pastilla, the succulent royal couscous, and a delicious tiramisu. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality-to-price ratio is excellent! The presentation of the dishes is very refined—which is very important—and our taste buds were delighted. The service is attentive and quite quick (we weren't in a hurry). The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, even though the renovations aren't quite finished yet. In short, a restaurant that deserves to build its clientele.

We ordered four pizzas, each one as awful as the last. What's with that thin, tasteless crust? Honestly, it's a joke! Where's the meat on the pizzas?! The portions were incredibly stingy. Tasteless pizzas! First and last time.

When I ordered takeout, I can say that it's a trendy restaurant, helpful staff, large plates to enjoy, a restaurant I highly recommend, thank you, I will return.
