The welcome was friendly, but the quality of the products is so different from the bakery of the same chain on the corner right next door. The bread was much less fresh, and the croissants were the same. It's as if there was a problem with the dough before baking... Do you use the same baking time everywhere? This comment is intended to be constructive because I'm a regular customer of Marie's, but this one is really different in both appearance and texture. Visited today, Friday, March 6, 2026.

I've been a customer for years, but unfortunately, I have to say that everything has gone downhill at this bakery, especially the quality of the bread. I've been very disappointed for the past few months, especially since it used to be excellent. It's a shame; I'll be buying my bread elsewhere!

Unpleasant salesperson who came in today, dirty shop, saleswoman who doesn't wash her hands, comes in after smoking, and serves immediately

I arrived one morning to find the shop dirty, the baker wearing a headscarf was on a video call while taking the bread out of the oven, and the manager was nowhere to be seen. The only positive points were the pleasant sales assistant and the very good snacks. I've been shopping here for three years, but this last year has been nothing like the previous years. How is such a drastic drop in quality possible?

Wednesday, November 5, 2025: Honestly, a minimum of respect and professionalism is essential when working in retail. My mother came in to buy bread; she simply asked for it to be cut, nothing extraordinary. But between the sighs, the pointless remarks, and the mocking conversations with your colleague, it says a lot about how you treat your customers. When you choose to work in sales, you also choose to smile and be a little patient. If your machine is more fragile than a day-old loaf of bread, it's not the customer's responsibility to suffer the consequences. A little respect costs nothing.

The bread is good, but it's a shame there are so many flies on the bread and cakes. I mentioned it to the vendor, who informed me that he had reported it several times to his manager, without any result!

How is it possible to sell pastries of such poor quality for such high prices? This morning, shortly after opening, I stopped by Marie's to get a croissant. I ended up with a truly hideous croissant! The pain au chocolat in the display case were even uglier. If it were just ugly, that would be one thing, but it was still acceptable. But it felt like rubber in your mouth, completely tasteless, not even crispy. And to top it all off, they charge €1.20! I had noticed the decline in the quality of the pastries. There's no doubt I won't be buying any more. Fortunately, the young woman who served me was very pleasant, smiling, and polite. I wish her strength in the terrible heat.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Marie-Blachère. Yesterday around 7 pm, I went in to buy a simple slice of pizza. I was charged €5.50 without any explanation. Luckily, I reacted before paying, specifying that I only wanted a slice, not an extra baguette. They then corrected it to €3.30, which is still exorbitant for a ridiculously small, burnt slice (blackened underneath), not reheated, and frankly disgusting. In the past, full pizzas were worth a bit more, but now, between the exorbitant price, the plummeting quality, and the disorganized service, it's unacceptable. Nothing makes me want to return; everything needs to be rethought. A very bad experience.

Never order from them. I placed an order for Saturday at 6 PM, arrived, and my order had been forgotten. They asked me to come back at closing time, and the order was only half-finished. I wanted to cut my pizza slices, and the cashier told me she didn't know how and had the nerve to tell me I had no right to complain. Honestly, I won't be going back.

The shop was very clean for a visit at 1:30 pm. The cashier was helpful and very kind! One small point to mention, which doesn't concern the shop itself: the quality of the products has unfortunately decreased, but not the prices… For example, look at the state of my cheapest ham (it's obvious). Apart from that, very good.

The staff are welcoming, efficient, and friendly, even outside of business hours. Thanks again.

I stopped by this morning at 8:30. The saleswoman who was there (who has tattoos) was very pleasant and smiling! I stopped by for some treats and left with two tarts and the pastries. A very good saleswoman; I recommend her.

As a customer of Marie Blachère bakeries, I went to try the new Brookie and I don't regret my choice, it's a gem! I recommend it to all customers (19/04).
