We're doing the bosses' job; there's no staff to take our order. It's either a menu on the table with the menu appearing on our smartphone, or we go to a dedicated kiosk. The staff brings us cutlery but doesn't even bother to wipe down the table outside. Hygiene? Soon robots will replace staff (like at the Japanese restaurant in Monteux), emptying the unemployment lines. As for the food, it's all mass-produced. Avoid the pistachio panna cotta; the pistachio cream looks like Play-Doh. We tried it, and we won't be back.

I had already been here about a year ago and had fond memories of the experience. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was quite different. First surprise: you now have to order at a kiosk, whereas previously the service was directly at the table. This would be less of an issue if the prices had kept pace, but they remain full-service restaurant prices. For example, it costs €7 to add burrata to a pizza! We placed two orders at the same time, at two different kiosks. Yet, our pizzas arrived about 15 minutes apart, which is a shame when you're there to share a meal. Especially since the restaurant was only about a third full. The waitstaff didn't seem friendly or very relaxed. We got the impression there was some confusion in the distribution of orders to the different tables. On the other hand, the pizzas were still decent and were almost the only positive aspect of the experience. Damage !

I had a wonderful time at Italian Queen in Avignon. It wasn't my first visit, and once again, I wasn't disappointed. I arrived around 2:00 PM today and greatly appreciated the warm welcome and the quality of the service. A special mention goes to Moustapha and Kenzy, two very kind, pleasant, smiling, and professional waiters. Their good humor and attentiveness made my experience even more enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

If we could have given zero stars on every criterion, we would have without a second thought. What a disappointment it was to discover the self-service kiosks at the restaurant entrance! Don't expect to order from the servers, but rather to scan a menu with your phone. The wait was long, and the food that arrived was more than disappointing: pasta (Lustruc brand) that was barely cooked, served with a Pomodoro sauce that lacked any actual sauce, and was served cold without capers (despite being listed on the menu), accompanied by a spongy, tasteless ball of mozzarella; an €18 salad missing an ingredient; and pizzas with what felt like plastic mozzarella. All this, a fast-food atmosphere, for only €74 for five people—it was practically a rip-off!

Last stop at Italian Queen at the end of the Avignon Festival before catching the train from Avignon Centre, just a stone's throw away. The pizza is delicious, especially for fans of Neapolitan pizza with a puffy crust. Fatima & Moustafa gave us a warm welcome. We'll definitely be back! 👌

Moustafa is the best waiter in all of Avignon. Welcoming and always smiling, we wish we had waiters like him every day. We'll be back for the salmon pasta and the quick and efficient service.

Second time at this restaurant, but no improvement in either the service (the waiters search for tables, wander around with plates...) or the food. The ingredients are good, but nothing more. The prices are quite high for this type of restaurant (€17 for a plate of pasta, €31 for a bottle of rosé!).
